Victor Morris and the KV Series

Larry Pegasus gave me this KV-1S heavy tank in 1/72nd scale. It is actually two kits in one box.
My friend Victor Morris is a master modeller and since he does 1/72nd scale armor, I passed this one on to him. He completed the kit in record time, and has already added some detail parts. The little box on the fender and cable and crew are his additions.

This kit is highly detailed and with a little extra work it becomes a fantastic kit.

The sprue is a cross between the Roco style one piece tracks and the more complex tracks often found on 1/72nd scale tank kits.

This kit has two copies of this tank. They are complex enough to be nicely detailed and easy enough to build rather quickly. Thanks Vic for building this for me, and I look forward to the next set of pics!

The figures don't come with the kit, but I don't know who makes them.
