Most of you are probably familiar with the Roco sound detector on top of the SWS halftrack. I carved out the inside of the unit and mounted it on the top of an Opel Blitz van body truck.
I use them as radio direction finder trucks. They can search for hidden radio receivers and find the Maquis hiding in the French farmhouse.
RDF units can also be used to locate artillery forward observers. That is why I put them in with my artillery.
